You know you've made it when... Koenigsegg gets a laptop
Apparently if you are going to play in the supercar ranks, you need to offer consumers a laptop to be taken seriously. Joining fellow automakers Ferrari and Lamborghini, Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg now has its own notebook computer as well. Unlike Ferrari and Lamborghini, however, who rely on Acer to make their computers for them, Koenigsegg opted for an unknown computer company who branded it a Koenigsegg. Available as a CCR (pictured) or a CC8S (black), each features a large Koenigsegg logo on the front. Sadly, the technical specifications don't match the speed of the recently Autoblog piloted SuperSwede. Pictured is the CCR version, which sports a 2.13 ghz Intel Pentium M processor. The CC8S version has to make due with a 1.7 ghz Intel Centrino. Both are available at the Koenigsegg Shop.

Putting an exotic car's name on a (in many cases) cheap laptop is something I would expect a Chinese company to illegally do; I can't believe these companies are actually going along with and supporting this. Koenigsegg may need the money, but the other two have no excuse.

Funny!
No matter how racy the body looks, it has the same drab engine--Windows OS--as all other PCs.
Making a slick cover for any PC is like putting a Ferrari body over Chevy Cavalier drive train.

for those of you complaining about the computer specs - shut up.
First, this is a car enthusiast site; not a tech nerd site.
Second, anything Koenigsegg can do to get more money to put into their kick-ass cars is fine with me.

"Welcome with your order" concludes the description of every item in the Koenigsegg online shop. What does that mean? If only it meant that a member of the Swedish Bikini Team "welcomes" you with your order.

lambo's laptop is an asus, but not a rebadged one...asus doesn't make a similar non-lambo laptop
